Email clients
An email client is an application that goes on your own personal computer. This means that your email is sent from many clients to a central server, which then sends the information to the right email addresses. If you use Outlook , Thunderbird or Eudora, you are using email clients.
 
Webmail
Webmail are web based email accounts. Emails are ran from a website, and webmail permits users to contact their email accounts as long as they have an internet connection. The largest names in webmail services are Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo mail, so if you use any of these, you’re using webmail.
